Alan Howard

Alan has 15 years of private and public sector experience in leadership assessment and development. An expert in the field of psychology, Alan uses a range of psychological approaches and tools to help organisations select and develop leaders and leadership teams.  As an experienced coach, Alan has worked with leaders in many commercial sectors and in public sector organisations such as the Police, Prisons and Central Government.  

Alan has a particular interest in leadership decision making and managerial judgement.  He has authored situational judgement tools, which are marketed internationally by one of the world's leading test publishers, and is currently researching senior managers' judgement in China through the University of Nanjing.

Before joining CPCR, Alan worked for American Express Europe, British Energy and a major recruitment firm.
